World Parkinson's vision and aim 2025 is:-

To vision a world, where  no one faces  Parkinson's alone.

World Parkinson's Day  11th, April  is a powerful opportunity to take action together.....and  bring communities together.

This is already happening in  NorthWest Somerset, delivering this intent in a highly relevant and transferable way..

Introducing ... THE POWER GROUP (TPG) WAY

Based in North Somerset with excellent cooperation and funding contributions by the NW Somerset community support group, TPG represents a powerhouse of self- managed affiliated groups. TPG focuses on delivering physical exercise routines suited for different levels of intensity, known to combat PD . The style of exercise delivery is serious but fun, adding a noticeable level of increased mental wellbeing.  Groups are created locally to promote easy access and successful funding initiatives enable low cost membership.  Wellbeing feedback is amazing, benefitting from the opportunity to bond and share within an exclusively PD membership group,

On World Parkinson's Day 2025 we intend to celebrate our progress within the NW Somerset community. We hope this will encourage other communities, wherever they may be, to create similar pathways and help them to take more control of their lives, living with the condition.
